I have had my eye on these beauties for more than a month. Out of 4 Walmarts I talked to weekly I mostly got vague "come back later and talk to so and so" (piss off) run around answers and finally one "sure, here ya go." they were scheduled for take down yesterday 10/31/2014, so head on over to your local Walmart cardboard recycle bin and dumpster dive for them I guess.
Behold, the Walmart movie DVD header display and sideboards:
Portrait top piece is 4'X1' and the full figure side panels are 40"X16"

They were part of the seasonal display that showcased re-releases of the classic films in Complete legacy collections and single film version DVDs for Halloween that came with a free (purchase of DVD necessary) $7.50 discount offer code for theater tickets for universal's "Dracula Untold" 2014 through Fandango

These were definitely worth your effort. Persistence pays off, congratulations!

I got the top piece from a local Walmart, but I didn't see the side pieces in any of the area Walmarts  :(

It should also be noted that, in addition to not displaying the side panels, they had the Universal Monster top piece turned backwards, so it was basically only acting as support fot The Fog movie display  >:( >:( >:(

Sadly, that's the kind of treatment these films get nowadays. Director Kevin Smith gives one of his workers on "Comic Book Men" a hard time about still being a staunch Universal monster fan. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, Smith is a huge fan of those lame Star Wars geek-fests.

Were the displays on an end cap or in the middle of an isle? Made a big difference in how they were displayed. Endcaps got the sideboards middle of the isle usually just the top piece. I didn't see any center of the isle cardboard Kiosks?(for lack of a better word) for these but sometimes new release movies get their own "display."

I live in a fairly large city with at least a couple dozen or more Walmart locations within driving distance and more than half I went into didn't have the side panels up, especially if they were not on an end cap. I am sure that some got ganked for a store employee's home Halloween decorations, or for insider sale on Ebay ( I looked and none up yet so far, but old pepsi/ Frito Lay displays and whatnot are listed for 50-90 bucks (yeah right, not paying that for some cardboard.) I bugged the four stores closest to me to get mine, my brother got denied by the dinks working at his Walmart Electronics section.

I always check places like F.Y.E. and Zurchers regularly for a Universal Monster cardboard stand up as they sell all kinds of characters but I have yet to see a monster, although I did grab an Elvira for my dad one year. Why has no one done this for UMs yet??? Or did I miss it and everyone but me has theirs already so they aren't redoing it?

I used the Drac untold promotion coupons to go see it twice for free.

Done what? Make UM standees?  If you're talking about commercially available standees, there was a line of them several years back. They might even still be around.  I'm sure you've seen the promotional standees, in video stores and grocery stores.

No, this was a store in Fort Pierce, Florida; but there may have been several stores that displayed (or, in this case, DIDN"T display) them this way.

"Sigh."
Holy cow that is funny. Do they actually expect some schmuck to pay nearly 100 bucks a piece for something that was free for the asking? There weren't any up when I started looking but it was inevitable. They might actually get sold even at 20 bucks a piece but not 100. hilarious how they are super rare according to the seller with no mention of cardboard or Walmart in the listing, 4,322 Walmarts in the U.S. according to their website and I am sure most got them.
Sigh, is right.

I have seen a mummy and Wolfman from a Frito Lay promo standups, and various cartoonish Pepsi display stuff but I have never seen just a UM character standup that wasn't promotional, despite everything from Disney, The Big Bang Theory, Marvel and Betty Boop etc. available for purchase regularly. Maybe someone started a thread back in the day, I will search for it.
