Since I'm a blow mold nut I was wondering what the first blow mold halloween bucket was and what year?

I doubt anyone does or CAN know the answer to that question. So much time, so many companies, so many countries..........
We're all here because we're not all there.

I would think late 50s at the earliest, but inclined to guess about 1960.  I think the earliest plastic blowmold JOL would be the smiling one with the chubby cheeks (probably made by Empire Plastics).

I am familiar with those buckets/lights... the one on the top closest to the camera with the dimple I bought new in 1972 (he's in the Bayshore catalog) and one of the few things I've had that long.  On the bottom shelf, far right is the masked JOL, and next is the bucket with cherubic cheeks that I'd guess as the oldest; he's the earliest one I remember, and by the time I was cognizant, they were no where to be found.  Nowdays, they're not rare.  I think another example of the same is atop that one but with paint wear, yes?
I like Halloween buckets too.

1962 could very well be, my earliest blow mold JOL bucket memory are the cherub cheeked ones, it was a very long time after my original one disappeared that I got another one (in the '80s).
