Okay, now I've gotta know. What IS that Frankenstein?

14" vinyl figure with posable arms.  I don't think the heads moved.  Made by Hamilton Gifts/Presents, 1991.

They came in a plastic bag with a wrist tag.  There was also a 14" Creature.  (Anyone remember if they made a Mummy?)

They made 4" PVC figures and Pencil Toppers (heads only) of the same 4 monsters in 1991, too.

Looks like it's just these 3 and Creature.  Couldn't find photos of anyone else.  There's also a set of smaller rubber figures featuring the same 4 characters.

Here is the large Creature; interesting, but not the best likeness of the character. For some reason, the smaller figures seemed better proportioned. Also, they never made a Mummy, or I would have known about it.

When times are dark, don't consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

Hamilton Gifts also made a Creature waterball/snowglobe in '91. I don't recall any other monsters, though.

Those also came as keychains.

They released gift bags and a ceramic Frankenstein bust lamp as well.

Oh, the large monsters shipped with hang tags strapped to their wrists, all sealed in a plastic bag, with that bagged figure in a brown box with plain text on it, sealed with tape. Several of them had vacuformed plastic trays at the head and feet to stabilize the figure inside the box. Few people collect them MISB as, being non-graphic, they aren't very interesting.

Forgot about those. My Creature/WM bag is in a box, somewhere.

That toppers display is sweet! Did you buy it off a counter in '91, or piece by piece off eBay?

I got the display and most of the toppers off eBay.  The price was right and I couldn't resist.  Then I found more toppers on Etsy.

It really is sweet.  Seen from the top, the toppers fan out  and look like a broccoli floret or bouquet.

Or one of those lollypop bouquets.  :)

One Wolf Man lollipop short.  I know I have a couple loose Frankenstein extras somewhere.  I could always stick one of them in there to make the full 48 pieces.  But that seems like cheating to me.

I'm holding out for one more Wolf Man - pristine condition, like all the others.

I wish I hadn't sold that WM I got when buying a Creature.
