It's only 3 figures.
Just kidding around. That's some cool Creature stuff. I have the TOTS mask and mini bust ordered but they aren't supposed to ship until Dec. 15th. They probably won't make it by Christmas but hopefully they will. Nothing like a Creature Christmas.

The TOTS website says the Creature mask is "in stock". The mini bust says "out of stock", so I ordered it from another seller.

I've been buying DVDs and CDs and a lot of old monster mags, lately and neglecting the new Creature stuff, so I bought all of it yesterday!  :)

Great haul Mike!! I'm not a mask guy but that ToT mask looks rad. What's that going for if I may ask? I would consider adding that to my collection even though I'm not a mask guy in general.

The SRP is $59.99, but I saw one for $50.??. Depending on shipping charge, or lack there of, there may not be any difference.

Quote from: geezer butler on November 12, 2019, 02:01:17 AMGreat stuff Brick. I'm glad you were able to get those panels. I saw those at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. I asked the electronics guys what they did with those displays after Halloween. As we say in Italian, the guy was a real mamaluke. He told me they throw them away. I asked "You don't give them to employees?" Nope throw em away. I said "Well, what if I told you I'd like to take them?" Nope throw em away. I told him "that's bull$*^t." He said take it up with management. Can you believe that? So I told my wife I was gonna go back and just steal the panels, straight up. I should have.

Nothing like a Wal-Mart employee on a power trip.

When you think about it the reason they don't give a damn is obvious. They're not commission salesmen, there are no stock options for employees, there's no profit sharing plan and they're paid minimum wage. In short they're not paid to care; so they don't. I don't blame them.

Walmart isn't quite THAT bad. They pay about double the US minimum wage for most hourly associates. Department Managers start at between $18-$30 per hour depending on if it's a smaller store or Supercenter. Obviously your not going to get rich but if your not yet in an established career, "semi-retired" or have a two income household it isn't terrible. Costco pays a lot more but you have to pay just to have the honor of walking in Costco. I don't have a strong opinion either way but I've certainly worked worse jobs than Walmart for less pay.

Okay. I'll grant you that Walmart employees aren't the lowest paid in America and that jobs at Walmart aren't the worst around. But nonetheless in defence of Walmart employees the fact remains that they have no skin in the game. Whether you continue to shop at Walmart or the company's profits are no concern of theirs. This is a failing on the part of Walmart since everybody knows that shareholders make the best employees.

Therefore it's fully understandable that the fellow at Walmart didn't care to go the extra step to please a customer. Quite simply there's a downside for him when he doesn't follow the established policies/procedures which have been drummed into him (he could be chewed out by his boss) but there's no upside.

The other day I randomly found these cool "Final Faction" alien/monster/kaiju figs at Dollar Tree.  I get some Doom/Diablo vibes from the "Brute" fig, and some Pacific Rim Kaiju feels from the Synthoid.  There's also a few accessory packs as well.   I haven't seen the human figs yet, but I did see their accessory packs.  (Remco Phantom for scale.)

Here's their spot at Dollar Tree's website:

Not enough new toy lines these days.  This is definitely up there with Alternation as one of the cooler action figure lines lately.

After the disappointing Prospero Hall Shining game, I'm a bit more wary about this one.  I've never done these 'escape room in a box' games before, but these contain multiple scenarios for 5 or so sessions, so I should get my money's worth out of it.  Fingers crossed that it's good!

I knew there was something missing! I forgot to order these 2 pins and 1 patch from Han Cholo. Now I'm caught up (I think?).
