I have had astonishing luck in the past week.

First, I found an Etsy shop dedicated to old media who had a plethora of Classic Collection VHS tapes for great prices. And they took 20% off, so I saved about $15 and basically got Invisible Agent for free (I've noticed that one in particular is fairly pricey for some reason.)

After that, I was at a second-hand store that had a very specific, no longer in production(AKA currently overpriced by people on eBay) Lego set that I've wanted for about a year now. It was half the cost of the cheapest set on Ebay. I customize Legos to make Scooby-Doo characters and I'm always trying to find settings for my monsters. So, I finally got my swamp shack and customized it a little for my witch and zombie.

The very next day I went to a yard sale literally because the people had clearly put a lot of effort into their signs and it gained my interest. I never go to yard sales. It was very spur of the moment. I found, just in the middle of a bunch of junk, a Disney Parks exclusive Haunted Mansion coaster that I wanted but never bought. And, you guessed it, is no longer in production, so it's terribly overpriced on Ebay. I got it for $1.

And, finally, today, my wife and I found ourselves at an antique mall where I found this vinyl Metaluna Mutant model kit. I had no idea what it was, but I loved it. I did some research and discovered that it was a Tsukuda model kit from 1984. I'm not overly familiar with model kits, but just from some minimal research I could tell that this thing was expensive. But this guy clearly didn't know what he had because it was labeled "Mars Attack Alien" and he only wanted $20 for it.

And the same guy selling the Mutant model had 1976 King Kong promotional glasses and I had to have the one with Kong fighting a giant snake.
The boys around here call it "The Black Lagoon"; a paradise. Only they say nobody has ever come back to prove it.

Picked up this 4" Frankenstein bust.  Fan made, it is cast in resin and extremely light.

Not a world-beater, but I kinda like its simplicity.  Besides, it was listed with something else that I was sure I could sell to recoup my full purchase price.  Hard to pass up free items.

It's the Ian McKellenstein monster?

Yeah.  Much nicer than I thought it would be.  I just haven't taken pictures, yet.

The Batman

'Got this photo for Mike Scott and other Creature fans around here - at a local vintage toy store.

I will guess it's Homer turning into the Creature.

I think Homer was King Kong in that series? There's a nice unlicensed Homer as The Creature, though.
