Someone gifted me this, it was awesome - never seen it before. Also managed to pick up the Creature Walks Among Us and White Zombie Sideshow figures. A good end to the holiday season!

Finally scored a Marvel Legends Monsters box set which arrived today.



Since I love the Marvel Monsters from the '70s I wanted one of these. It arrived in excellent NM condition from an eBay seller who packed it very well. I've been holding out for a good price on this because sellers usually want $100-$200 for one and that's more than I wanted to pay. This one was less than a DD Mego-style figure including shipping. The figures aren't bad, but the sealed piece displays very well so that's the way it stays for me. Extra articulation is fine, but I'm a big fan of cool packaging and once you crack it out it just isn't the same.

Great piece! The rfrankenstein looks really cool. I am also a mint in box collector. The only exception is some of like the X Plus Godzilla figures. I will take those out of the packaging.

Thanks, fellas. I have the '70s Marvel monster mags and comics so I'm glad I could grab one of the figure sets.

It's funny, but I bought all of that Toy Biz stuff in the '90s but stopped before this Monsters set came out. Now that I've trimmed down my collection to mostly monster stuff I have a roomful of superhero figures that I'll sell at some point, but I drop 80 bucks on more Toy Biz.  That's the way collecting goes sometimes, but I'm happy I found one for less than a hun.

Found a pic of the back with some classic Marvel monster covers.



It's an evilBay hotlink so it may fade into cyberoblivion any time. Maybe I'll drag out my camera and take a pic of mine if this one evaporates. Great packaging, and the box is very sturdy as well.
