Amazing! It looks just like him! Great job!
Mike
I bought his head sculpt and scavenged for the rest of his clothes. Repainted the gloves and his white fingers and made his stick.
Thanks

Re: Doormats

I kinda figured they were, but these are the cheapest doormats ever made!  It wouldn't survive 2 wks outside in the elements, or 2 months inside in heavy traffic.  Gonna make a nice decoration, though!

This is an actual book you can buy.  I bought it.  The cover made me laugh.

Not a bad 2 bucks spent at Goodwill... need a while to take in all the detail on the J Davis cover

Jonathan Winters was great! Loved him when I was a kid.  :)

Good snag, jimm! Jack Davis' masterful art is always a pleasure to behold.

Here's a fave of Hepcat's and mine:

And a couple more of Jack's classic album covers:

And the cards included with the Dracula's Greatest Hits album:

I bought some stuff from Drive-In Moonlite Movies a few years ago, including the CD of Dracula's Greatest Hits, and the guy threw in a set of those monster cards printed on thick card stock. He had a few sets printed up to offer as premiums at a previous Monster Bash and had a couple left over, so he sent me one because I had bought a few things from him including that 7 foot Creature poster. I don't have the original card set so I was very pleased to get the reprint set on the thick cardstock. Anyway, Jack Davis is right up there with Frazetta, Bama, and Gogos IMO.  :)

My Dinosaur Playsets book arrived today. It looks fantastic with many pictures of rare dino playsets and figures, and the most info you will find on this very specialized area of collecting.

Most '60s/'70s Monsterkids were also Dinokids and had boxes of MPC and Marx toy dinos as well as maybe a playset or two. A few of us took it further when we became collectors and have hundreds of Marx/MPC dinos and cavemen, and a closetful of Prehistoric Playsets. For that small group of obsessed dino collectors I highly recommend this book. These are available on Amazon now. Before you know it these books will probably be OOP and cost someone a crazy amount of money on the secondary market. I've seen it happen time and again with quality specialized low-print-run items- The Warren Companion, Gathering Horror, and others. If you just want the info it's really cheap as an eBook, but I prefer something real that I can touch and add to the collection.  ;)
