This classic caught my attention early as a child, even though I normally sought out monster movies first above all.  It used to run on our EARLY SHOW quite a bit.  Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn are smply outstanding and the whole cast is excellent as well.  Great writing, direction and cinematography along with a beautiful score by Miklos Rozsa make this one I continue to love and revisit on DVD.  Any other fans out there?

Haven't seen this in quite a while, but yes it is an enchanting film. I love his portrayal of Vincent.

Gosh, yes--I'm a big fan of this one, and for a Hollywood biopic, not too bad at all.  Tremendous sets, locales, props to showcase the considerable acting skills of the stars (and supporting cast, too)!
