It's just that sort of devil-may-care attitude that has doomed us all.

No wonder their civilization fell.

If you take into account that the Mayans probably did not observe daylight savings time or leap years the Mayan apocalypse came and went without anyone noticing, my oreo says we will be okay.

You can find info that discounts the "Mayans didn't count leap years!" but did they take into account that the other side of the world is a day ahead of the western world?!  At what point, and for how many hours, is it the same day all over the world?!

It is currently December 21st in Russia, for some parts it is just a few minutes after midnight and for other parts it is nearly 5 hours into December 21st! I guess we all have to wait until it is December 21st across the whole world before the crap goes down! At exactly the time when December 21st hits the "first" recognized time zone is exactly the time when December 22nd hits the "last" recognized time zone....or is that vice versa?!? Either way at no point is it December 21st across the entire globe! Of course that could just mean that those lucky enough to be in that "December 22nd" time zone will somehow escape the end of the world on a technicality?!

That's 3:33 A.M. in what time zone?

Gotta be Mountain or Pacific. Les Schwab Tires has stores only as far East as Colorado.

So...  When is it 3:33 A.M. December 21st Mayan Standard Time for the rest of us?

I don't want it to come like Santa Claus.  I wait up as late as I can, only to nod off and have it come after I finally fall asleep.

Should I leave a plate of cookies?

3:33.  Half of 6:66.  It was a joke.   :)

This is definitely NOT a joking matter, sir.

We're talking about the end of the WORLD here.

(And you didn't give me an answer about the cookies.)

To heck with Santa.  He doesn't come 'til 3 days after the world ends.

So I've been extra bad this year.
