I hope you find one man-I wish I still had my extra one. He was actually the one I had as a kid and was broken. I gave him to my 2 boys when they were little and he didnt survive.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Yeah, it's a bad time of year to be buying. Wait until mid Jan (after people buy themselves gifts with Christmas money or Feb, but get it before people get their tax returns). The art gallery / toy store connected with Austin Books and Comics had an unboxed Godilla in great shape in store when I was in town two weeks ago, I believe they wanted quite a bit for it, but you might try calling them. Great people, and the manager I spoke with, Brandon, was friendly and very gracious.

Also, be aware that the fists and yellow plastic "claws" of the feet have been repopped, supposedly prefectly (which I find to be a damn shame, but that's me). Check out the photo section:

do you remember how much? As for the repop i seen some feet that looked right but the plastic was pailer. Although I have seen a pail brighter godzilla a few times lately and to be honest he has had me worried. All of the ones I've ever seen were really dark green.

They had several Shoguns and I was pricing a lot of items. I can't remember well enough, but I have one and the price wasn't low enough to buy and trade for something else. Can't hurt to inquire.

As fa as color on the hands and claws, they guy remaking them has done them in both brighter and darker. I don't know how to tell the difference between his and originals. It would be great if there is a way.

Wha? Weird. It definitely wasn't $300 when I was there. Strange. Anyway, I'm sure one will trun up online at a reasonable price, especially after the holidays.

The more I think on it, that really is odd. I'm SURE he didn't quote me $300, in part because I would have asked him why so damned much. It wasn't cheap, but I think I'd remember it being so outside market price, and wouldn't recommend calling. Anyway, they have a Godzilla / Kaiju themed art show up right now - including a great one-of-a-kind stained glass style light box - and a huge display of NFS Godzilla toys all from one private collection. Nothing in either store (the toy store / gallery is right next to the comic shop) is outrageous. Matter of fact I got a loose complete (feather and all) and mint Sideshow Mask of the Red Death Phantom of the Opera 8 in figure for $20, which is $10 less than I've ever seen it and around $20 under what it typically sells for, and he didn't discount it, that was their priced retail. Anyway, given this Godzilla exception, both are still great stores, try not to hold this against 'em, and if you're even in that city, check 'em out.
