Also found the Kenner T-shirt Iron On as well for the Cargoyle.

Do you have the box, too?

Wow! That is wild cool! I never knew that the Kenner Gargoyle existed. It was just a plastic push toy I take it. Was it part of a series of dragster push toys issued by Kenner or was it a one-off?

You pull that plastic strip with the teeth and it spins the big wheel very fast and then you set it down and it takes off.

Another Halloween purchase from last month- Ben Cooper Chattermouth Skeleton Costume:

I've always liked looking at the old Halloween kid's costumes and masks but up until this year I didn't really get into collecting them. This Halloween I started buying all of this junk- noisemakers, masks, costumes, treat bags. I keep thinking I'm about out of room and then I move some stuff around and squeeze more in. Love this stuff.

Thanks, mars.

Yeah, the jaw opens on it. The mask is pretty fragile though, even more so than most vacu-form masks.

I think if I had a rare vacu-form mask that was in danger of becoming shards in the bottom of the box, I would be sorely tempted to coat the underside with something to reinforce it and hold it together, if ever it did crack.

(I know, I don't like to alter things, either - but...  )

Use that rubber stuff that guy sells on those TV commercials. It comes in white. Test it out on a cheap new mask.

I don't know enough about the masks to know if any of the vacu-form ones are rare or expensive, but I do have some vacu-form pieces from playsets that damage pretty easily and are fairly valuable- the octopus from the 1965 Remco Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea playset for example. Pieces like that I just store inside a smaller sturdy box and store the box with the more durable playset pieces for protection. Vacu-form pieces are more likely to get damaged during shipping or moving. I've found that if they're stored correctly and handled carefully they don't develop cracks. I guess you could coat it with something to reinforce it but I'd be afraid to do that. Also, it could diminish the value of a high grade piece. Most collectors are picky about that sort of thing on expensive collectibles.

More Halloween stuff I scored off eBay last month:

The witch mask is by Ben Cooper, the noisemaker is Kirchhof, and the skeleton mask was a Zest soap premium from the '60s (buy 2 bars of Zest soap and get a free mask). The small amount of empty wall space I had is quickly filling up with old Halloween masks. Those things look great on the wall if you're a monster/Halloween nut.

Grabbed these small Treat bags from an eBay seller last month.

The seller included some extra ones for free. Some fun Halloween imagery here.

Yeah, the one on the bottom right is particularly good.
