Trio of ghosts by Ian McLean, on Flickr

The local bargain store is ready for Halloween. And now so am I. The colours rotate. All the smiling ghosts had flat batteries, but hopefully easily fixed.

Halloween Rice Bubbles by Ian McLean, on Flickr

Australia never seems to have themed Halloween cereal, but this year we did get Halloween pack art on our Kellogg's "Rice Bubbles" (Aussie version of "Rice Krispies").
Thiptho lapth,

That's pretty sweet!

I don't remember seeing that before.  What year is it from?
Thanks. I had never seen this one before either. (I love new discoveries) The box shows 1997. It is a piece from Dark Horse Comics. Sculpted by Thomas Kuntz.

I believe you can find them in the sporting goods department. They retail at about a hundred and nine, ninety-five.

That is a great deal. I ordered one for that price some time back and was delighted when it showed up with zero shipping damage. A shame that you expect shipping damage but that's just how it is.  >:(

The boxes that Moebius uses for these are not the typical flimsy sort that many models come in.  They are surprisingly thick and sturdy and perfectly capable of being mailed without  an outer box to protect them.

In fact, they are very useful for re-use as attractive long-term storage containers of other assorted collectibles after the model has been built.

I actually own one of these. Kicks like a mule especially if you let both barrels go at once!  :o
