Not my finds though. Those are Freddie Poe's from Worcester, Massachusetts. He scored them at the big Chiller show in Parsippany, New Jersey.

once again thanks to Brother Hep Cat for kindly posting pix for me....The Chiller Convention was great as usual. It was good to see Brother Gasport again. Gasport , who is one helluva guitar player gave a bunch of us (known as the ZACH PACK per John Zacherle the Cool Ghoul) a private concert in his hotel room! We all sang and had a great time! thanks again to HepCat for the post and Gasport  for the scary good time at Chiller! Carry On Screaming!!! Brother Poe

Why did MOEBIUS do a LIS Robot kit? Are the Polar Lights ones that hard to find?

Mike, the new Moebius Robot is in larger scale, 1/6 instead of 1/8.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

that modern day LIS model was a mistake. thats an item i have on ebay. the Lost in Space Model shown now is the one i just got.....

Oh! Not much of a difference, though.

It's the same robot, just bigger. That makes it a bit easier to detail.

built them both - garbage..............

Picked this up at comiccon. $30,  not bad even though it's not glow in the dark version.

Nice score, Geezer. Still need to get my hands on the Remco's.

Thanks Count! I also have the Remco Dracula in the box. I have loose figures of Wolf Man and Frankenstein's Monster. I saw Remco Monster Play-case at Comic-Con opened, but in pretty good condition. I talked the guy down to $130, but I didn't pull the trigger. Maybe I should have. I always second guess myself after these collector shows.

I've found that I could usually get better deals on a small number of items by being patient and stalking evilBay. Still, though, it's always fun to buy special things at shows to remember the occasion by. Also, if you spend a lot and buy in quantity with the right dealer you can beat eBay both pricewise and timewise. When I first started seriously working on my monster mag collection I spent a few hundred bucks at Monster Bash and got over a third of the run of Vampirella at once in true high grade, much better than I could have done by taking much longer and paying a small fortune in shipping fees on eBay. The year before that at the Bash I spent a bunch with a dealer from New York and scored some really nice Warrens and Marvels at like 1/3 to 1/2 retail (got a Dracula Lives #1 in VF-NM for 8 bucks as an example). If you sniff out the right dealer with the right stuff you need and buy in quantity then buying at the show is the way to go. Plus, it's always better to check out items in person. evilBay photos (and sellers) can be mighty misleading sometimes.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Monsters For Sale

I lucked out on an Enesco Frankenstein Night Light.

Frankenstein73 called my attention to this last auction I napped through after the fact (I never would have bid this much.):

But it looks like I caught everyone here comatose during the week this one was on the block:

The 9 1/8 in. Enesco lamp is always talked about as being a light-up Soaky, but I have never seen them pictured together before...
So, here he is, side-by-side with his Soaky cousin:

Been looking for one at the right price for years.  Sometimes patience pays off.

That's super great Monsters for Sale! Fantastic price and item! He looks great next to your Soaky! He's even better since he's painted on the back too. I'm the same way, I wait for a good price on an item no matter how much I want it and it almost always shows up at a price that fits my budget eventually.
