Mike Scott. I've been reading the string on the Clinton Frankenstein Bucket and I'm starting to realize just how I lucky I was/am!  Beginners luck I think they call it.  Could lightning have struck twice?  How unusual is the "Drac Flap" I found?

esarpy1

"String", thread, you knew what I meant, right?  Never walk the walk, if you can't talk the talk!

Darkside1

That bike flap is really cool. I never saw one up close before.

Just as rare as the Frank bucket, I'm sure, but probably not as valuable, because it doesn't have the same reputation. Don't remember what the last one sold for? It's been a while.

True, I was being cheeky about you saying it that way. I am impressed with the item, and am glad you didn't get taken by someone looking to get it cheap. That is what I like about this forum. Some forums I have visited seem to pounce on new people with great items like that.

esarpy1

Thank you all for your honesty and frankness, as well as, not "pouncing" on "fresh meat".  I'm new to the UMA, but wasn't born yesterday, as far as researching an item I've found anyway.   That's how I ended up here!  Now, for my computer skills, well that's another story!

I'm hoping that I can be as helpful to you all someday, in return.  I'm also hopeful that my apparent beginners luck continues!!!!!!!

BOO!

Here are my latest Monster finds. More Flea Market finds. Dark Shadows and Godzilla were $15 each. The game is so fun to play.

Great looking Barnabas game! I wonder if they make board games based on TV shows, anymore?

I've seen more of the Frankenstein buckets, both for sale and in collections, than the Drac or Frankie bike flaps but, like Mike said, the bike flaps aren't in as much demand. Still very cool though!

Looks like you still have the bag of vampire teeth, in the original bag.  Great find.  With the game I bought, the dealer said those were often thrown out by parents, because they were unsanitary.  Fortunately, not being a purist, I simply bought some from fake vampire teeth from a magic shop, and have played it with my daughter.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

The "Barnabas Collins Coffin" being etched on the coffin is kind of cute. Considering it was the biggest secret on the show, advertising its his on the exteriro is sorta funny.  I guess 60's toys manufacturers felt they had to dumb it down for the kids. Nowadays kids seem more saavy than adults. At least with tech. I can barely send a text message, lol. Great finds. one of my favorite threads. Wish i could contrbute to it more though, lol.
