Hit the flea market today, picked up a Frankenstein Imperial Jiggler!  Also got The Haunted Mansion dvd for the kids, I've looked and looked for a widescreen version of this but only ever find the fullscreen version at Wally World for 5 bucks?!  Got Final Destination 1-4, the case was the $5 4 Film Favorites case that you can find in stores but someone had actually replaced the 2 dual sided discs out for 4 individual discs....for 2 bucks I figured, "What the hell?!".

Ok, now on to the good stuff.....

Non-monster here but when I saw these I just had to pick them up!  I can fondly remember these from my childhood but those ones are long gone~

The following pieces were a quarter apiece;

Vintage Beistle black cat~

I'm pretty sure this is vintage, the black velvet kind of gives it away, but not sure how old!?  Dual sided one side is black velvet the other side is just gloss black~

Anyone know the age on this?!

Now for something I completely missed back in 1999~

An oversized paper mask of the She-Creature from AMC promoting their Monsterfest!

Text on back~

Apparently they had a She-Creature hot air balloon that toured the country that same year?!

Found these at the goodwill yesterday, it amazes me that vintage stuff still turns up still sealed in its package at a thrift store. I have a bunch of diener monsters, dinosaurs, and such. but these are the first I own in their package.

Cool! Those Space Creatures seem to be quite a bit different than the Space Aliens posted in the "Take Me to Your Leader" thread:

horror1o1- You are amassing quite a collection of sweet masks  (I've been keeping track  :) )

It's weird Charp. Last year I found 5. This year I'm at around 15 if memory serves me right and the season is just starting. now if i could only stumble across one of those Glenn Strange candy buckets?lol! ::)
It's all about the Horror.

I have one of these skulls in my collection....Judging from your posts zombiehorror, we are probably pretty close in age...I remember my Mom purchased this thing new around late 70's/1980ish....I was 7 or 8 years old. So, it's probably a bit over 30 years old (maybe 32 or 33).

found these today.

Great find, horror101!  I spotted a police man mask that I was sure I had as a kid.  Dug through some old slides and found a pic of me wearing it.  The pic is from 1975 which gives an idea of the year of these.  Looks like there were variations of that police man mask as mine isn't exactly the same but close.  (No comments on my clothes or what the hell that pumpkin is doing in my lap.)   :o

It is made by Peck Incorporated from Bloomington, Indiana in 1982. These are the monsters they did that also have black velvet flocking on one side.

Kind of a mix here but some monster related books. The local Library has been having a book sale every saturday with a special-buy a tote bag and fill it(I mean stack it as high as you can!) for 13 bucks and bring it back and refill it for 9 bucks! My wife and I hit it up the past two weekends and scored about 100 or more books between us for 22 bucks! Here's what I got:
First week:

close ups of ones with cool covers

This weekend's haul! This weekend is the last sale until next Spring so we really stocked up. I found a slew of awesome old crime paperbacks with awesome covers among other goodies!

Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Nice--I tore through a bunch of Perry Mason's this summer, later versions with gorgeous covers by Robert McGuinness.

Picked this up at an estate sale Friday:

That Frankenstein Pop-Up toy is quite scarce.  Take care to protect the Frank figure from scratches.  I have seen nearly perfect examples of him sell for well over $100 all by his lonesome.

A scratched up loose Frank recently sold for $68.

Very nice finds!
