Tale of the Comic Shop! We'd love to hear some of your experiences! I had a comic shop in the '80s and still have nightmares over certain instances at the shop...Buddy

QuoteSide views.Anyone know whomade this figure and when? there's a Harris copyright on the bottom of the base, but no year or manufacturer marking

That Vampi figure was from a line of action figures by sculptor Clayburn Moore. It was released around 2000.

I managed one during that same time frame.  We could probably share a lot of the same experiences lol.  Actually did better for myself at the conventions though than at the shop.

Thanks for the info Kenneth! She is certainly sculpted well enough to be a kit.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

The dreaded double-post sorry! Further reading reveals props used in the background for photos are not included unless specifically stated. I hope these bidders read that part. At first I thought it was included.

The description DOES say the boat is included packy.

So it does good eye! I didn't read it thoroughly did I? Well it sure is cool. I have the Pirate version of the ship which is different but I still put my monsters in it and printed out a fake logo for the sail. Thanks voyttbots!

Here's a comic shop tale.......... I hired a rather pretty young lady to run the shop on certain days. She was just out of high school. One of the regular customers took an interest in her, but she wasn't interested in him. He was skinny, talked too much, and most of what he said made little sense. We've all known that type of comic geek. Anyway one day, when business at the shop was slow, the young lady was working alone and this comic geek came in. He asked her if the shop had a certain comic, and she replied that it was in the back room and she would go get it. Well, comic geek followed her into the back room and tried to force a kiss on her. She freaked out and threw this guy off the walls for several minutes while in an uncontrolled panic. She was stressed out over the whole thing, and he was physically beat-up. No body pressed any charges. The girl stayed on, and the comic geek didn't show back up for several weeks. Probably till his wounds healed.........
