Love those lincoln monsters, I haven't ventured back into the action figure world in awhile as far as my personal collection goes, but seriously debating on some ahi, or lincoln monsters lately.

I'll get pics shortly, but I got some cool stuff the past couple weeks. For V-day my wife got me a very neat electronic "toy" of the new Enterprise from the 2009 movie, a friend gave me a vintage 1983 2 headed Imperial dragon that I used to have as a kid and I got season of the original Star Trek. This is the "remastered" version with new CGI effetcs replacing the original model effects. They look nice and are quite cool, but the discs do not include the option to see the episodes with the original effects, which stinks as far as I am concerned. I won't be shelling out the cash to buy each seasin twice to have both versions!
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Redking! What happened to your head!?    Buddy

RedKing

Different 2 headed dragon Svatter. That one is a more recent one but it is still very cool.
ine is from 1983 I believe it says on his belly. I had one from around 1984 or so, but don't know what happened to it. I went in for some plastic surgery Bud-this is what happens if your doctor is Colin Clive!
here are the promised pics:

Yes! Very nice Enterprise!  Buddy

My find was in an ebay auction.  How many treasures can you spot? Just one caught my eye right off the bat and was worth four times the price I paid for the set.

The Blu-Ray sets have both versions of each ep.

Fill us in, John. Which one caught your eye? Am I seeing a large Remco Frankenstein in one row?  Bud

John Pertwee

It was just an AHI Frankenstein complete.

The Mego Bo Duke, his replacement for one season on the show Coy Duke, the naked Zira from Planet of the Apes, the Shirley Temple doll and the early dwarf from Snow White were just icing on the cake. Most of the 60 plus items were crap, but there was gold in them there hills.

My weekly find came by way of Craigslist. Not monster related, but I hope that is OK. Got these 2 battery ops.  the first is a Modern Toys Neptune Tugboat from the early 60's. Tin and rubber with very little plastic. Tug is a bump-and-go toy with rubber bumpers and tires for when it runs into something. Neat action.....the cabin section rocks back and forth with a chugging-like sound and the forward search light comes on, and of course it moves forward running into things. The second battery op. is super cool.....a Daisy-matic No. 67 Thunderbolt Army Fighter Plane. What is so special about this plane is that Daisy, the BB gun company, gave producing Japanese built battery ops a market try in the early 60's. The effort didn't last long. I know of the Thunderbolt and Daisy-matic Remote Control Missile Tank as the few attempts Daisy made to compete with the other large toy companies offering battery ops. The Thunderbolt has the coolest actions any kid could have asked for! Switch under the wing turns the propellor on.......then there are 3 diff. colored buttons in front of the pilot.....one retracts and extents the landing gear......one shoots the machine guns which flash light and make a rat-a-tat sound......and one releases a bomb on the underbelly or the plane. Just about as good as it gets! Toy is mostly plastic with metal insignia badges applied on body and wings. The pilot figure os neat sitting in his very colorful cockpit Toy was electrically complicated and I'm sure many a kid quickly broke the functions of the plane with hard play.    Buddy

Yeah, Buddy hung up the phone on me to run out and buy this awesome plane. Shows my position on the Buddy Priority List. Bottom rung. ;)
