That's a great looking Dracula.  I've never heard of these toys.  What are they?

I have a weekly find of sorts (I didn't get it this week but had meant to post it earlier).   I got a Monster Shop Dracula from a friend of mine in Japan.  I'm hoping to get more Monster Shop figures but I think they're pretty tough to find. :(  Hopefully my friend in Japan will be able to find more (but I'm not holding my breath).

Come on, we ALL chewed on Callisto's head, didn't we?

Oh wow, I thought I was the only weird kid that did that.    ;D

I didn't really chew it, maybe just nibbled on it a bit.

the Dracula figure is a resin model (well, it's a 1 piece model) from a company called Monster Shop in Japan.  They have also created the following figures...

*FRANKENSTEIN MONSTER.
*BRIDE.
*GILLMAN
*MUMMY.
*DRACULA
*NOSFERATU.

They are really nice casts.  Really detailed.  I'm working on getting a Franenstein and Gillman but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get them.  I think they're pretty hard to get. :(

Here's a link to the Creature from eBay...

Yikes!

Those Monster Shop monsters are pretty cool, Bela's likeness is actually pretty good.

Now for my recent haul.  Picked this up for a couple bucks, I just need 1 more #5 card to complete the game!

Another Bela Lugosi Dracula card that I picked up for a couple bucks.  Not sure the year on this but I do not believe it to be vintage.

Lastly; I've started a new collection-

Eventually I hope to pick up all 16 issues.

*Other stuff I picked up but won't bother with pictures are; Famous Monsters 205, 207, 213 & 245
*Mummy Luminator (Was hoping to win Drac & Frank from same seller & would have only paid $8 for each w/shipping but  what are you going to do, that's Ebay.)
*Hasbro's Frankenstein & Bride (loose) for my daughter
*Scary Monsters #36-a great wrap around Mad Monster Party cover
*PepsiMan vs. The Universal Monsters, paid $9 for Frankenstein, Dracula, Mummy, Invisible Man and Metuluna Mutant-figured these would look good among my other Universal Monster Pepsi stuff

Well, I snagged a pic off the web, but found this at TRU this last weekend.

Not monsteriffic, but still a fangtastic snag for me!

You got all those for 9 bucks!? I had to pay $10+ for the dark green Creature and $15+ for the light green! Being a Creature collector sucks (money out of your wallet)!

Yeah, I let the Creatures pass this go around but I'm going to keep my eye out for them and hopefully add them to the collection at some point.

I've passed over them (individually) a few times, but when I saw them together I thought it's now or never!

"It's now or never.....come hold me tight...."  I'll stop there.  Good job Mike, I bought mine for around the same price, but I had to pay from shipping from Japan.

Just got these in yesterday. I love the Remco Monsters and the puppets rule IMO.

Hey, cool!  A full set of Monsters At Home.  Very nice.

Monsters at Home - a very strange and under-appreciated toy line.  That is great that you found the whole set at one time.

On top of that, John snagged them for a great price.
