Does any one know how the victim was packed?  Were these monsters sold individually, or as a set?  If so, was the victim only part of the set?
The victim was only sold as part of this set. The Monsters were all available individually on cards.

Thanks for the different perspective toy ranch. I guess to each his/her own. Lol

Is this really the only set known to exist?

I'd like to say that now I know what a $3,000 shipping box looks like. But I think the provenance is more valuable than the box or any of the figures. Any of these pieces individually, even the box, would not have sold for this kind of money. But knowing that this was the original set that actually came out of that box, all untouched, is what made it special.

I'm not a Lincoln completist. I don't even have a Mr. Rock.

I think I can safely say that I will never be owning any of these ever. Wowzers. As for the links to other things that Bobby showed. Double wowzers. Who the ehck pays almost $1,000.00 for buckets meant to hold....poopy? :o

this auction made me get off my butt and fix my mummy today. All I had was the head which is original, so I pushed it onto a dr mego glow hand body and cut some bandages out of an old flour sack, and wrapped him up, even painted some blood to give it the feel of the original.     These bodies are very fragile, even more than the AHI figures so I dont think alot of them made it through the years, That also needs to be taken into consideration with this auction,The mummy being the one I see the least of. My frank, wolfman, and dracula are in great original condition. I think ill just make my own victim to add to my set.

Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Very nice!! Do you have the Phantom and Hunchback?

frankenstein73

There's a Justin Beiber doll available that would be perfect. :P
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Ghost

How about a Karen Korpse Thriller doll for a victim instead. Would be better than the generic doll and definitely better than Justin Beiber. Don't know the scale though.

I think a frizzy headed Victim went for over $2k by itself once.  (frizzy due to being victimized, not because it was made that way).  Following that logic, a mint victim would be a $3000 toy.  That makes the other 4 and mailer box worth $2100, a bargain!

Beautiful F73! The Mummy looks great-just like the original! I really wish someone would reissue these and the AHI figures someday.
