I did send a small package the other day. Sorry for the delay, but you should have it soon.

The Phantom Creep

Hey I know I'm late to this whole thing but if there are any extras after you're all finished I'd be interested.

Also, Bane I live in Atlanta and awhile back a friend of mine at a used book/movie store here told me about some guy coming in and buying up a bunch of monster stuff to take to Mexico. Guess that was you!

Good luck on the Cafe!!

Hey Phantom Creep!

If it was Book Nook.  That WAS me!  The owner of the store also turned me onto a fellow collector that lives in Atlanta going by the name of Shane.  He has a great collection.  One of the best I have seen with my own two eyes in person.

It seems I might have to buy my own liquor license.  Corona doesnt give you the financial support they did in times past.  It is better to be free and not to be tied to one company anyway.

The Phantom Creep

Yes it was Book Nook and I'm good friends with Shane. It was my good friend David that you spoke with at Book Nook and I wish he had put you in touch with me as well, I think you would have enjoyed my collection and I could have loaded you up with some stuff also  ;), but he wasn't sure about giving out my number. I would have enjoyed meeting you. If you ever get back up to Atlanta, let me know.

Once again, good luck on the cafe, keep us posted here on it's progress!!

Take care,

Shawn

Well Shawn!  Nice to meet ya.

I lived in Atlanta all my life and thought I was the only Monster collector...HAHA...Is Oxford comics still going strong there?  I think that was one of the last comic shops there when I left.  I know of one at Little 5 points and of course book nook but the comic shops died a vile death in the ATL.  I have been in Mexico 2 years now and SORELY miss Atlanta.  There are no comic shops I am aware of in Laredo Texas.

I will visit one day.  It is just I have a Mexican wife now and it is heck getting a visa to visit.

Bertges to Packy. Message received and acknowledged. All is well. 24 hour watch established on mailbox. Awaiting arrival of many packages.

Over and out.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

UPS came today and I am currently in possesion of 23 sets of the Mexican Pop Top re-pops.

They will start going out to those whose trade items have arrived on Saturday. I'd do it sooner, but my car is in the shop and I'm stuck at home. I'll notify you when your package ships.

Each package contains 2 figures (they're all either orange or purple), 2 cardboard masks, a set of plastic fangs and some (not many) random packs have little skeletons in them.

Craig nice avatar - reminds me of a Vertigo Sandman? Or Tarzan?

Wich2

Thanks, Paul.

That's my old friend, The Monster, as delineated by the generous - and generously talented! - Kerry Gammill.

He's allowed me to use it to promote the Quicksilver version of the story.

Best,
-Craig

Jim, how is the detail on these re-pops?

One of the bags had a split on the side, so I carefully removed these fellas for a quick close up. I hope this answers the question sufficiently.

Okay, now I'm screwed - they look so dang good, is it still too late to trade for a complete set?
