If you owned a monster...

I asked my wife which monster she'd own.

"I already own one - and he better obey me!"

What a hilarious spouse.
" Perhaps he dimly wonders why, there is no other such as I. "

Oh, easy one--the bronto from Dinosaurus.  He could provide transportation, and just think how easy painting the house would be for him!  He could hold a paintbrush in his mouth and get those really difficult-to-reach spots.  When he gets thirsty, he can drink out of the pool, maybe.

Well, then again...maybe one of the ghoul sisters in Spider Baby?

Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

I'm thinking Pyramid Head here.  He's someone who gets things done.

What a great thread Mark! I would want someone like Godzilla or RedKing, but I imagine they would be impossible to train, though I would probably want to use them as muscle for world domination, so the training wouldnt really be a problem. Honestly though I think for a friend Frankie would be the best and maybe Gamera or Minya, Godzilla's son.

Sean- I am talking through clenched teeth, when I tell you how unpleasant it is to read your posts in Dr. Smith's voice.  We just MeTV with our new cable, and I just watched the worst Lost in Space EVER! It was the episode with the Pirate ship captain......I can't go on. I adore Lost in Space, but last night I was so irritated by Dr. Smith's voice, I thought my head would burst into confetti!
Anyway....my whole immediate family has been discussing Pyramid Head lately, and we also think he is one cool wicked creature! Great choice!
Did you see the Universal Studios Orlando Silent Hill haunted house preview? They are doing it for Halloween horror Nights. It looks insanely scary!  And Fun!

Ha!  I've been reading his posts in Smith's voice, too!

I asked my wife again which monster she'd choose - she said the original Mighty Joe Young - which I think is a pretty good choice.

The Creeper

I am not sure, this is a great question?  I do have my book though.

Long live the UMA!

Man I miss that book! had it as a kid. I seem to remember there being another book too, but that was an awful long time ago...

That book looks like something I'd have loved as a kid.

Anyway if I could own a monster I'd probably go with a Golem. I'd make it myself and treat it with love and kindness so there would be none of that "Turn against the creator" bullcrap that usually happens when people make monsters.

Long live the UMA!

Yes! Thats the other one I had too! boy i wish i still had those-have to check ebay!
