That's pretty avant garde sh&% Mike.

Somebody recommended it, so I gave it a listen on YT. I'm an old '70s Prog fan, but haven't listened to much of the modern stuff. I thought this was a pretty good album. Great guitars!

P.I.L.  - Second Edition (Metal Box)

I'm absolutely obsessed with this brilliant album. As ahead of it's time as the first Velvet Underground album. If you haven't listened to it in awhile, you will be amazed at how well it holds up after 40 years.

What is that a photo of?

That's the gatefold cover. (I picked one up years ago at a thrift store.)

Your post Mars Volta inspired me to listen to some At the Drive In. Great post-hardcore band. When they broke up, two of the guys formed Mars Volta, while the other 3 members formed Sparta. Anyhow, Mars Volta was too experimental for me. At the Drive In pushed boundaries, but were still tethered enough  to punk and hardcore.

My Uncle Acid shirt got a few excited compliments today.  Did my best to explain what they're about - hopefully I changed some lives today...

I absolutely love this band.  Uncle Acid is coming to my town in May. But, unfortunately with this unforeseen catastrophe, the band will most likely cancel.
