Very short life span, endless influence. Great band, great track, WL.

Loved JOy Division. A similar band that started in the same era,one of my all time top five non metal bands. Sisters of Mercy. As the years went on they became more techno/rock oriented. In the beginning they could be very dark and depressive. IMO,for the genre,Andrew Eldritch is one of the greatest voices ever. Here are 2 examples and 2 of my favorites.  " Across the floor across the tiles,a man is dead and the razor smiles" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtfrL_BMw40

Great era for dark goth rock. Sisters,March Violets,Screams for Tina, Switchblade Symphony, Two Witches. IMO,Bands like these can never be duplicated and that whole era was and is still very special to me.

Such a classic. So many good songs on there. My two fav tracks are prob Epidemic and Aggressive Perfector (only on bonus re-issue CD version).  But then again Altar of Sacrifice and Jesus Saves are epic too!!!

Lately I've been listening to the music of Woodstock 1969, mainly because we're coming up on a major anniversary next month.
