I went to Amoeba Records this weekend and dropped a couple of hundred on vinyl. Got all the Birthday Party, Velvets, Bad Seeds, Dylan etc. I love record stores...wish there were more around.

Mord, excellent. Great taste in music as always

The Pop Group "For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder" -

I had no idea this 1980, post-punk masterpiece had been re-released on vinyl. It's every bit as wild as I remember it. They feature hard funk rhythm section (bass heavy, like P.I.L.), crazy Beefheart-style guitar, Ornette Colmanesque sax madness, and a howler monkey for a singer. Brilliant, angry, politically charged...all the things that made punk great. This new pressing features their iconic single, "We Are All Prostitutes" and four, 2-sided art prints. I'm impressed.

Hey Mord
Thanks for the link to Pop Group. Good stuff ,especially the bass lines.
Check this out.
I guess there are only so many combinations of notes you can do.
