Any fans of the RCA Classic Film Scores Series?

Been a while since I'd played any of them, so I've been pulling out a few favorites.

Anybody ever heard of the RCA Classic Film Scores Series?

How about Elmer Bernstein's Filmmusic Collection?

Currently listening to FMC 10 - TORN CURTIAN by Bernard Herrmann. His unused score for Hitchcock's 1966  film. Conducted by Bernstein.

I know the sound quality is not great on HTH, but that's prob my fav Kiss record. I wish they could find the master tapes and try to clean that recording up somehow. Actually do that to first three records.

I agree with you, Geezer on the recording of Hotter Than Hell. Horrible engineering on that album. Richie Wise and Kenny Kerner know they did not do that well of a job, in terms of studio recording. HTH is a great album as a heavy, music-driven album.
By-the-way. If the early KISS catalog was up for recertification by the RIAA or band. Each of the first three albums would certainly be at double platinum status. As well as the other studio albums that follow would be certified as quadruple platinum or even more.
KISS ALIVE is over quadruple platinum status, but the RIAA still has the album listed as 500,000 units. Which is incorrect.
According to the facts. Most of KISS' album catalog has gone over quadruple platinum. Albeit Music from the Elder, Killers, Unmasked and Psycho Circus will not reach any more units.

Elmer Bernstein's score for "Kings of the Sun". A latter day addition to The Elmer Bernstein's Filmmusic Collection (CD box set).

The Kinks - Low Budget
Super-duper choice, Mike. I saw them do this live. They such a fun,  chaotic band.
