Universal Monsters Online up and running for beta testing!

Some of you probably already knew about the www.universalmonstersonline.com online game that was being developed, I recently got an email to sign up to Beta Test the game.  I've played it myself.  It's not too bad.  I like the little twists on the character looks, and I also like that they include SO many characters.  This game has Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, The Wolfman, The Mummy, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Bride of Frankenstein, Mole Man King, Metaluna Mutant, Invisible Man, Phantom of the Opera, Dracula's Daughter, and Man Made Monster.  Here are some of the promotional images and screen caps that I captured to show everyone.

Ok, so this is obviously not for home consoles right? I do not have a worthy pc yet, but if this game was available for ps3, I would be more than happy to be a tester.

I got an email to be a tester also. It must be my schedule because everytime I go on looking for a match there is none available. I am chomping at the bit to play. They gave me the times when the developers are playing but I am not available at those times.

Its not just your schedule. Match making is practically broken, unfortunately.

I think I need to watch the tutorial again..I've got no idea what I was doing..I (as the Phantom of the Opera) was just running around destroying buildings and catching people..but I'm not sure how to avoid getting shot..or how to beat those trolls..and I'm not sure what spawning is?  When I "die" it tells me to spawn and gives me a countdown.

Respawning is when you die and come back. You have to wait before Respawning though, hence the countdown. Once it hits zero, you automatically respawn

Thanks! I think I need to watch the tutorial again, and pay better attention.

So what does everyone think of the look of the monsters?  They're a little different, but I think they did a good job.  I'm also impressed that they expanded beyond the normal few monsters, and added Man Made Monster and Dracula's Daughter.
