I just saw the remake of MY BLOODY VALENTINE (in 2D).  It was okay for 1 viewing; nothing special though.

I watched "Alien" last night after Wonderfest. Still scares the pants off audiences thirty years later! ;)

Watched several interesting films yesterday afternoon:

EYES WITHOUT A FACE (French 1960 with English Subtitles)
I BURY THE LIVING

and not really a genre film but I also watched HOUDINI.
