Should have watched "Freaks", instead of "The Return of Doctor X" and made it an all MGM show.  ;D

I wasn't watching a monster movie, but this 1933 movie from Majestic Studios had a scene outside a movie theater that was showing Majestic's "The Vampire Bat", also from '33.

Is that the WB Legends of Horror dvd set?

Strange to call it that, as 4 of the 6 movies were MGM.

They could have done two WB sets:

Svengali (1931)
Mad Genius, The (1931)
Doctor X (1932 Atwill)
Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933)
The Walking Dead (1936)
The Return of Doctor X (1939)

Outward Bound (1930)
The Body Disappears (1941)
The Hidden Hand (1942)
The Mysterious Doctor (1943)
Between Two Worlds (1944 remake of "Outward Bound")
The Beast with Five Fingers (1946)

And one MGM set:

The Unholy Three (1930)
Freaks (1932)
The Mask of Fu Manchu (1932)
Mad Love (1935)
Mark of the Vampire (1935)
The Devil-Doll (1936)

And a double feature with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1941) and The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945)

Yes. I also watched Doctor X recently.  I wanted to make sure my DVDs still worked.  Plus, I hadn't watched them in a long time.
