Man on the Prowl (1957) - Caught this rare film on Tubi. I've always loved James Best and I'd never seen him in a role like this.  He plays a psycho killer and does it quite well.  A very versatile actor.

Dr. Jekyll's Dungeon of Death

Just picked something I hadn't heard of on Tubi.  This is not a good movie.  The lead sucks, the supporting actor that has the second most lines in the movie is somehow worse, and theres multiple martial arts fight that run wayyyyy too long.

Monday night:

The Lost World 1925. Watched the latest restoration that clocks in at 1 hour and 44 minutes.
The DVD I purchased a while back was a restoration from 2000 that clocked in at 93 minutes.
I purchased a 12-inch laserdisc of this film back in the 1980s, and that version was the abridged version that barely clocked in at 1 hour.
Gotta this world of film restoration and preservation.

Watched Robot Monster in 3D last night.  Excellent - yes, the film is not the greatest, but it was VERY enjoyable in 3D.  If you didn't get this thru the Kickstarter, definitely buy the DVD or Bluray.  Well worth it.
