Monsters For Sale

Kissed, 1996 - The story of a young girl and her fascination and affection for things dead.

Stars Molly Parker.

Can't really classify this as a horror, even though it deals with necrophilia.  It is told in such gentle, almost poetic language that is more of a coming-of-age love story - sans any moralizing or condemnation of the events herein.

I include this here only because of it's overall theme.

Very unusual.  For me, that means worth watching.

Viy (1967)~I guess in the U.S.S.R. at the time this may have qualified as horror but it is really more of a whimsical folktale with elements of horror.  Not the best use of an excellent-gothic looking setting; good for a one time watch but I don't know that I'll ever revisit.

Hellfest-2018

Hey, Mars

What do you think of this film? I wanted to see in theaters but never go around to it. Should I check it out?

"Well friends, that's all there is to life: just a little laugh, a little tear." - Prof. Echo (Lon Chaney, Sr.)

Mord

Blood Fest (2018)
Hell Fest (2018)
Scream Park (2014)

All 3 are very similar.
BF-  Kids go to horror con.  They get killed in nefarious ways.
HF- Kids go to a Halloween carnival. Kids get killed.
SP- Kids go to the last night of a closing amusement park, they get killed.

None is particularly good. Just goofy massacre flicks with bad acting and low budgets.

Geezer. I agree with, Mord. Hellfest. Bad acting and bad acting. Lol!

Drag Me To Hell~Feels very much like Evil Dead but is ruined for me by some shoddy CGI.  I hadn't watched this since I saw it in the theater when it came out, I don't remember the ending at all.  For years I thought this ended with a fight between the woman and a horrible looking CGI demon?  Does anyone know what movie that ending is from?  I'm guessing it would have been out around the same time as Drag Me To Hell.
