Last Night - 1998
Seeking a Friend For the End of the World - 2012

Nothing like starting off a brand new year with tales of the end of the Earth.
We're definitely heading in that direction.

It certainly seems like it.  My only solace is that people have been wearing sackcloth and predicting doom every year that I can remember, and nothing has come of it so far - fingers crossed.

The Lost Missile, 1958 - Cheaply made and poorly done.  It stars a very young Robert Loggia.  I can't watch this without thinking about him dancing on a giant keyboard with Tom Hanks.

My absolute favorite Who story.  With my favorite Doctor!

Dark Shadows (1991)~Binge watched the one and only season of this revival on Hulu.  I missed the original run due to being stationed in Korea at the time but I must say, had I watched it back then I would have been bummed to learn of its cancellation.  While far from perfect, they did a great job of combining various season plotlines into one heck of a first season.  I wasn't really liking Ben Cross as Barnabas but warmed up to his portrayal toward the later episodes.  Definitely worth a watch for Dark Shadows/Dracula fans but may be a tad slow for others.  Speaking of a somewhat tepid pace, I can see how this failed to catch on with a wider audience.

Wind Chill (2007)

What did you think of "Wind Chill"?

I saw it on TV one day and was really intrigued by the whole setup and reveal at the beginning.  But the explanation did not support the final resolution for me.

I was left wanting.

I enjoyed it. The supernatural repeating loop the "Girl" and "Guy" were trapped in was interesting, and the staggering apparitions were fun. I agree that the ending was a bit unsatisfying. But, hey...Emily Blunt!  ;)
