I know. But I was really young when I last watched This Old Dark House.
Yeah, I would have felt the same way. The first time I saw it was when they released the Kino dvd. It's one of those "alone on a rainy night" flicks. I didn't warm up to the Karloff Mummy until adulthood. Now, it's a real treasure. Ardeth Bey is one of the creepiest looking characters in horror history.

The Mummy was always a favorite. Even though you only see him on/off screen, briefly. Karloff was brilliant.

That's a helluva lot of great movies. Did you just watch those in the last few days?

In about twice the time it would take to watch them end-to-end.  I have to sleep sometime.

The mailman interrupted me writing that post to deliver my new BLU-Ray copy of "Them!  -----  1954, so I will be watching that favorite next.  (I still remember seeing it for the first time when it was brand new, and I wasn't so old, either.)

Happened to have a list on hand for most of those because I was updating many of them with Blu-Ray copies.

Wow! That is a lot of viewing.

I'm retired.

It's too damned hot to be outside.

I always was a lazy bum.

I feel ya! Way too hot ouside. I would rather watch movies than deal with the heat. The closest to summer I want to see,  is, a fun Russ Meyer movie.

I like to give movie-trivia guru Memphremagog grief about having a lack-luster tan, so I thought I would give him some ammo to strike back with.

When I think about all the movies I have watched over the years, it is interesting to think about just how much of my life has been spent in the dark.  It's a wonder I don't have mushrooms growing behind my ears.

If you do find some mushrooms there, pull them out and eat them. It might enhance your movie watching experience.

I can have them while watching "The Mole People".
