"Blind Alley" (2011) - Cool, Spanish horror film starring the ridiculously gorgeous Cuban actress, Ana De Armas ("Knock, Knock"). A dancer gets late notice that she has an important audition in the morning. She realizes that her outfits need cleaning. She then goes to an all night laundromat where...well, I don't want to give it away. Creepy, atmospheric, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Watched "Halloween III"

I like this movie a bit more than I did when I first saw it in the theater.  At that time, the title was so mis-leading that I was unable to enjoy anything about it.

Also watched the 1998 Kurt Russell film "Soldier"

I really think this near future sci-fi story is under appreciated.  Russell gives an impressively solid performance in a role that allows him to speak no more than about a dozen words in an hour and a half.

Last House on the Left (1972)
Return of the Living Dead
"Last House on the Left" is quite a groundbreaking film (especially considering that it came out in 1972!). I love to watch it back-to-back with "I Spit on your Grave". Excellent chick-revenge films.

Definitely! Both films set a precedent for over-the-top Horror violence.
Not that the films were original in terms of on-screen violence. However.. I Spit and Last House both paved the way for extreme
reality-fictional Horror violence.
