Watched AVENGERS today, too.  Lot's of fun CG destruction, but I didn't like it as much as the first one.

Why is BRUTE MAN not on YouTube? It's PD, no?

Although BRUTE MAN is a PRC film(bought from Universal), it's owned by Image currently.

AVENGERS was pretty cool, but ANT-MAN is excellent! Cant wait for this on dvd soon!
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

First of all, yes...the whooping and banging together of sticks was hysterical. Second, I do like some found footage stuff (the ''VHS'' movies are watchable, "The Houses October Built" was great)  As for "Blair Witch", I did compare it to "Bride of Frankenstein". Actually, it was a highly influential and brilliantly marketed movie for it's time.

You're right. I read that wrong the first time. I'm just so used to having to defend it and I jumped the gun. I apologize!

If someone owns the copyright, then it must never have been PD. Those Image DVDs are too expensive, considering the movie.

I wanna see ANT-MAN, too!

No problem. I do my fair share of "gun jumping", ha ha.

Poltergeist (2015)~I didn't think it was all that bad, definitely not one of the worst remakes out there.

Thursday:

House of Long Shadows (1983) blue-ray
Tales of Dracula (2015)

Friday:
The Exorcist---Extended Director's Cut (1973) blue-ray
*The blue-ray looks outstanding. The film never looked better IMO. I love the director's cut version with integrated extra scenes. Cool bonus stuff too.

Saturday:
Took nephews to see Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015)
*fun movie for the kids, but I thought first movie was a lot funnier. I  like the fact that the movie introduces classic monsters to the kids.

Well, I give them credit for going old school and showcasing vintage monsters. It looks like the film was a lot of fun to make and I like the idea of supporting independent film makers, so I bought the movie. The makeup was pretty cool, considering the budget constraints. The acting was what you might expect from a low-budget film however. I think it's cool they put this together, so I hope I don't sound like a jerk, just being honest.
