Love "The Crazies" (both). This is one case where the remake may be better than the original. Oh, and of course, Mr. Sardonicus is one of my faves, as well.

I agree, I like the re-make better as well. I went into that a little in the "Latest DVD's & Blu-rays thread"

With all due respect to George this was a case where I liked the re-make better than the original. Bigger budget (obviously) and better acted. Where the original focused more on the government's ineptitude, the re-make focused more on the human drama aspect.
