Just bought (and watched) "Blood of the Vampire". I had forgotten how much I love this film. It's the best Hammer film that Hammer never made. The disc also includes "The Hellfire Club" with Peter Cushing. I guess that one's next to watch. BTW, both films were written by the great Jimmy Sangster.

I think BLOOD is a great film also...plus, it doesnt exactly hurt that Barbara Shelley looks so damn sexy in it either. ;)

Just watched "Cheap Thrills"" and I highly recommend it. Very dark comedy about a guy in deep debt who loses his job and will do anything to provide for his family. While drinking in a bar with an old school friend, they run into this bizarre rich couple looking for kicks. They then offer the lads money to do various high risk tasks (the higher the pay the more dangerous the stunt). This is for sick people with a truly warped sense of humor. I loved it (by the same people involved in "You're Next").

Listen to them...Children of the night...What music they make!

The Teacher 1974- not much horror content but it involves a creepy Vietnam vet staklking the babelicious Angel Tompkins (who frequently gets naked).

Gamera vs Zigra 1971- the giant Turtle's last movie for 9 years as the Daiei Company went bankrupt the following year. A 1972 Gamera film was all set to start production at that time-Gamera vs Garasharp.

Naked Angel Tompkins...what else do you need? This is from that 32 movie drive-in collection, right?
