So you don't really agree with me then  :D chronological would put Dracula before Frankenstein but personally I think the break between Phantom and Dracula is needed.
Oh yeah, I guess I get to disagree again. What the hell, you wind up with cape overdose watching the Phantom & Dracula back to back. You're right (painful to say it).

I personally think that Phantom and Dracula back to back is a sure formula for a snoozefest; going from a silent film (that vhs tape probably doesn't even have music) to Brownings stiff direction needs to be broken up with something.

Not to mention that Dracula doesn't have music, either (unless you watch it with that overbearing Phillip Glass score). Frankenstein doesn't have music, but it makes up for it with more action.

Just watched "ATM"  - mindless, but entertaining enough

So I've decided to go with Frankenstein, phantom of the opera, the wolfman, creature of black lagoon, then Dracula last.

Mord

All great in any order. You're gonna have to find yourself copies of "Bride of Frankenstein" and "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein". Those are among the most entertaining of the Universals. If you get adventurous, check out "The Black Cat" with Boris & Bela (great fun).

Sound Of Horror is pretty darn good. Mucho hotness there, dude!

2nd that , great film , re-discovered it on one of those mega monster DVD box sets, I saw it as a child and could never remember enough of the film or the name to find it again untill viewing the set and seeing it by chance.

That's why those mega DVD sets are great, they may be low quality but tons of films to see on them.
