Monster Squad is over. Now on to Trick 'r Treat!

Good choice!

I need to find my copy of Trick r' Treat, I told McDougall last week that I was going to go home and watch it, and ended up I couldn't find it! Ugh!

Sounds like an awesome movie marathon at your house - Jealous.

I'm taking a "Break" from studying, to umm... well go on the forum, and then back to the books!

I snuck in a "Tree house of Horror" while I was taking notes... that counts, Right?

Stupid Series 7 - takes all my fun (and my life) away!

I am with you on Trick 'r Treat - I will have to dig deeper for it, something tells me it got tossed in with my Halloween box when that got packed up. Not sure why, but...

Thanks :) I'm glad it counted somewhere!
Treehouses are some of my favorites - but then again I'm nearly as big of a Simpsons fan as I am a Halloween fan, so if THAT tells you anything :)

I'll find it... yeah... I think... or I'll go buy a new copy and then come home from the store and it will be mysteriously sitting on my counter ... hum.....

I use to watch The Simpsons a lot, but that was years ago.

true, but getting another copy would be worth it. Especially on the blu-ray with the special features on it that the dvd doesn't have.

Right now I am watching Return of the Living Dead.

Phantom Stranger

"The Beast Of Hollow Mountain" (1956)
                          -Guy Madison

Plot :IMDB
An American cowboy living in Mexico discovers his cattle is being eaten by a giant prehistoric dinosaur.

Phantom's Review: I love monster movies, (pretty obvious I know)but I'm also a huge, huge fan of westerns, and whenever these genres meet, I'm interested. Most of the time you get crap ("Billy The Kid vs Dracula" anyone)sometimes you get a small gem ("Curse Of The Undead" 1959) and sometimes you get a film like "Hollow Mountain". A film so outrageously goofy, you just can't help enjoying it.
Put western star Guy Madison, a cattle stampede. a beautiful heroine, a hissable villain, and obnoxious little boy, his drunken father and a hungry dinosaur all together and you've got this looney, fun little time waster.
Based on an idea by Willis O'Brian (but he didn't do the FX, too bad) . The acting is OK. The FX barely passable (your going to love the dinosaurs tongue) and some decent western action. This would make a great double feature with "Valley Of Gwangi". :)
