- Jess Franco's Count Dracula (my favorite Chris Lee Drac, Soledad Miranda and great moody atmosphere for this re-telling of Stoker's novel)

- The Mummy 1932

- House of Wax 1953 on TCM (Haven't seen this since I was a kid. TCM is killing October!)
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde--1932, starring Frederick March--beautiful classic and charged with sexual overtones--surprising for the 1930's.  Glad I DVR'd it!

I just watched House of Wax today. Great flick.

Just watched Sssssss last night.  Not sure WHY its listed as "cult" or "schlock", it had quite a good story, very creepy atmosphere, and Strother was top-notch as always.   Good stuff!

Also watched Plague of the Zombies recently.  I was let down by this one, and I'd heard great things about it.   The story was a bit foolish, and it seemed to drag its feet as well.  Not one of the best from Hammer.

I plan on watching many of the Universal films that I missed as a kid, and this is the perfect time of year for them.  (So many I havent seen....House of Frnakenstein, Dracula's Daughter, London After Midnight, etc.)

Best,

Tor

Oct 8th--Dracula's Daughter.... 1st time seeing it.  Can't believe I never saw this before.  Creepy atmosphere.  Well done, IMO.  The sets were 'perfect'.  This film has been totally under showcased.

BaronLatos35

- Nosferatu on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Theater (love catching this on TV)

- Dead Man Walk on Count Gore (first time seeing this one. Pretty cool vampire movie)

Dontchya jus' loooove TCM in October??  Especially appreciate their "TCM Underground" segment--you can view films you don't normally catch on a station's rotation (ex: "Psychomania")
