I just purchased that on bluray.....awesome!!!!

I was really looking at this being my first Bluray but I saw some bad reviews as far as transfer goes so I didn't pop on it.  Luckily Netflix Instant hooked me up and if it's the same transfer as the dvd/Bluray I may still pick up the combo pack and officially own my first Blu.

Cannibal Apocalypse (1980) - cheesy 80s film which is the last of the cannibal-exploitation films, starring John Saxon (one of my favorite actors)

My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

- The Return of the Vampire (I wish we had seen more Bela as Drac)

- The Vampire Happenning on Count Gore (A surreal, trippy 70's euro favorite)

- The Werewolf vs. the Vampire Women (My favorite Naschy movie, not the best, just my favorite)

"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

The last couple of weeks I've watched:
"Monty Python's The Meaning of Life" (1983): Not their best film, but still enjoyably raunchy.
"The Manster" (1960): Low budget Japanese/American horror. Some of the FX are kinda goofy, but still an enjoyable and creepy film.
"The Thing With Two Heads" (1972): Campy and slightly goofy film. Enjoyable but kinda thin on plot.
"Horrors of Spider Island" (1962): lame, goofy dreck. Watch the MST3K version if you must see this movie.
"Invisible Invaders" (1959): Invisible aliens decide it's a good idea to inhabit dead bodies to destroy human civilization. It seemed like at least half the movie was just random stock footage of natural disasters. Boring and rather lame.
"Journey to the Seventh Planet" (1962): Astronauts tangle with a giant brain on the planet Uranus. Worth seeing for the stop-motion rat monster (with Rodan's roar to boot) and the recycled giant spider footage from "Earth Vs the Spider".
"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (2004): Hard to beat the Harry Potter series for fun entertainment. I'll be sad to see the series end this summer.
"Gamera Vs Zigra" (1971): our favorite giant turtle dukes it out with a giant alien shark. Sadly, neither of them steps on the annoying kid actors.
"Gamera: The Super Monster" (1980): weak and rather boring finish to the vintage Gamera series. About 1/3 of the film is just recycled footage from the previous movies. I kept dozing off while this was on.

- Thor 3D

I liked this movie. The 3D was vastly improved from previous 3D and it was fun. The guy who played Thor was a great pick IMO.

Michael, how was " Red Riding Hood"??

Cheesy, but good. Not great. It is what it is. ;)  This film had some good moments, and
not super gory. If any gore.

Zombie Holocaust (1980) - tons of gore and bad acting and dubbing in this cheesy Italian cannibal-exploitation film
