DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Sean

Curse of the Werewolf by Hammer.  Still awesome.

Dr.Teufel Geist

Twilight: New Moon....ya know I was thunkin, if they would have left out the sparkly crud and the faggish boyfriend vampire, then this could have been a good movie.
The Werewolves, Really Big wolves wasnt that bad...and the Vampires movements and attacks were pretty good to.

Memphremagog

Tales From the Crypt(1972)
Last Man On Earth(1964)

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Dr. Phibes Rises Again for the umpteenth time; and Vampyres!  Vampyres was a decent Hammer/Amicus style flick but those "sex" scenes were just god awful, some of the worst faux love-making ever captured on screen!

Currently watching Black Sabbath!!  Man I do love having Netflix Watch Instantly which all of these were watched thru!!

Wolf (1994) - I really liked this one, most people hate on it. But how can you go wrong, you got nicholson and a werewolf. Perfect!

Dolls (1987)
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Dolls (1987)

One of my favorite fun 80's movies and probably my favorite evil toy movie.

Wicked Lester

Hallowed Ground - 2007. Similar to Children of the corn with adults and an evil scarecrow. Not top notch but decent enough. At least the scarecrow doesn't wise crack or do ninja flips like in the terrible Scarecrow Slayer series.
I give it 6 skulls outta 10.

Phantom Stranger

"War Of The Colossal Beast" (1958)
Plot: IMDB
Glenn Manning, "The Amazing Colossal Man," believed dead after falling from the Hoover Dam, reemerges in rural Mexico, brain damaged, disfigured, and very hungry.

Phantom's Review: Sequel to the classic(?) "The Amazing Colossal Man". Cheesy, silly and lots of fun. Perfect for a bad movie night.

Embryo (1976)Rock Hudson, Barbara Carrera

"A scientist doing experiments on a human fetus discovers a method to accelerate the fetus into a mature adult in just a few days. However, the "adult" fetus turns into a homicidal psycho and looks for a new formula to prevent her from aging further."

Cool 70s sci-fi flick. 7 bananas.

The last few days I've watched:
Episodes 9-20 of "Kolchak: the Night Stalker" (1974-1975). There were several episodes that I don't think I'd ever seen before, and while there were a few clunkers in the mix, most of them were engrossing and entertaining.
"Excalibur" (1981): violent and lusty retelling of the Arthurian legend.
"The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues" (1956): ridiculous hokum featuring the goofiest sea monster this side of a high school production.
"The Beast With 1,000,000 Eyes" (1955): a farm family in California is terrorized by an alien that controls the local animal population and the mute handyman.  Completely goofy nonsense. Look for a young Dick Sargent in a supporting role.
"Matango" (1963): chilling Japanese horror film about castaways on a desert island menaced by mutant mushroom folk.

Where apathy is master, all men are slaves.

Voodoo Man(1944)
Voyage To the Bottom Of the Sea: The Return Of Blackbeard(1968)
The Cosmic Man(1959)
Doctor Who: The Stones Of Blood(1978)
Starcrash(1979)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Campfire Tales - 1997

This movie doesn't have any big scares or tons of blood. It does have a bit of a creep factor especially in the story with the little girl home alone. What this anthology reminded me of was the horror comics I used to read in the 70's when I was a kid. Nothing more nothing less. Nice twist ending too. Pretend you are 12 again have a fun little ride.

I remember seeing this flick as a teenager when I was babysitting. I began to realize it might not be so good for the 8 year old I was watching. But he seemed more interested in his Stretch Armstrong, thankfully.

Worth it for Barbara Carrera alone.  ;)
