How was "Piranha 3D"? Is the nudity better in the 3rd dimension?

Dawn of the Dead(1978)

That's what Jane and I just watched the other night! If you can believe it, it was my first time to see it!

That of course depends on the gender of the nude actor and one's orientation. ;)

Trog (1970)-Joan Crawford's last movie (the only reason I popped it in). Let's just say she should have stopped one picture sooner. She was drunk off her arse the whole time. A truly awful movie with laughable make-up, a ridiculous storyline, and just baaaaad acting. Did I mention Joan was drunk through the whole thing??

Shock Waves (1977)-Plainly and simply.........CREEPY COOL. Outlandish premise that somehow doesn't distract you from the essential creepiness of seeing undead Nazis rising out of the water continue their reign of terror. Terrific little flick for late night viewing.

All right -you finally saw Shock Waves! Glad you weren't disappointed!

And I totally agree about Trog - just terrible. I imagine Crawford had to be drunk just so she could get past the indignity of it all!

For the most part. The first third needed some tightening, I thought, and the zombie makeups ranged from excellent to trick-or-treat level. The zombies' abilties were inconsistent, too-- sometimes they were slow but dangerous, other times they were no more than near-mannequins who could barely shuffle forward,; Kharis was more scary and threatening. Sometime the Argento music score worked, other times it didn't. (Of course, this is all just one man's opinion.) Still, the acting was uniformly very good, there were many tense moments, some laughs, some fun satire of mindless consumerism, and even burlesques of movie motorcycle gangs.

Worthwhile.

I love Joan Crawford in "Baby Jane". She was just awesome. To see her demean herself in this piece of cinematic crud just a few years later was so sad. She just couldn't let go of acting. I read one critic who said that at this point she was so desperate to act she would have played the troglodyte herself.

I turned her autographed letter to the wall about 1/2 way through.
