Haxan. I was dumbfounded as to the content within this 1922 film. Amazing

I have always wanted to see the Legendary movie, Haxan. Would you recommend?
Is Haxan on DVD or VHS?

Yep, someone here recommended it. Got it on DVD via netflix. I do recommend, BUT not when you're tired given that it's a silent, albeit with a music track.
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

Phantom Stranger

"Prophecy" (1979)

Plot: IMDB
A log company's waste mutates the environment, creating a giant killer bear-monster.

Phantom's Review: This film should have been great. It has a fine director (John Frankenheimer) Some good stars (Talia Shire. Robert Foxworth) and a good writer (Davis Seltzer) yet it still manages to suck royally. A loser from start to finish.

Just remember. There are such things.

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

What did you think of the Mole People?
i liked it, it was the 1st time seeing it. Before, i always thought the mole people were the bad guys. I liked it for some reason.
As for Tarantula, it ok. I thought it was going to be better. For a good spider movie, i recommend Earth vs the Spider aka The Spider.

Phantom Stranger

"The Screaming Skull" (1958)

Plot: IMDB
A newlywed couple arrives at the home of the husband's late wife, where the gardens have been maintained by a gardener faithful to the dead woman's memory. Soon eerie events lead the new wife to think she is going out of her mind.

Phantom's Review: Fun, totally absurd "B" movie. It's one of those movies, that, had the producers had about $20 more in the budget, it could have been great.
As it is it's kind of silly, but has some decent atmosphere.
Hardly a classic, but fun to watch.

As we speak, my Lord, this is bad. The wine is helping...

There isn't enough wine in France to help that turkey.
