I watched "Dark City" yesterday. Arguably one of the best sci-fi/horror/fantasy/film noir movies of the last twenty years.

Frankenstein vs. the Creature from Blood Cove (2005)~

Lot's of reviews for this liken it to or say it pays homage to monster flicks of the 40's/50's but to me this is more modeled after a mash-up movie from the 60's with a little Russ Meyer thrown in.  If you're not lactose intolerant then you might make it thru the flick...it's filled with a lot of cheese not to mention stilted/bad acting.  And "FYI" this is not a kid friendly monster rally.  I was going to watch this with my daughters and just about the time they decided to go outside a guy in the movie says, "Now loose the top.", to a girl he is taking photos of.  I haven't finished watching it yet and maybe I just have bad taste but I actually do want to finish watching it!  Netflix "Watch Instantly" available for those that have it!

Yes, a 40's/50's homage it's not, but it's worth a look. Once.

Cool. I wish I could have scored like that. But, the weird thing is,
all Hollywood video buildings have been stripped down to nothing.
I tried to score some store fixtures.

I called the property manager AGAIN on Saturday and haven't heard squat.
