Of course, the movie Avatar is product of a corporate America (complete with McDonald's promotional tie-ins) spun with the intent of satisfying those very money-grubbers  . Which it has done by appealing to your anti-corporate sentiments.  And they're using your sentiments in this area to grub your money, while they of course reject those sentiments themselves.

Food for thought.

Dread - This is from Eight movies to Die for. This was based off a Clive Barker short story by the same name. It follows the story some what. From what I can remember. I think they change a few things. It's just been so long since I read the story I'm not sure. The movie is a slow burn but I felt it was worth it. I liked it and from what I read this is the only movie of the eight that is worth a crap. I would give Dread 3 1/2 stars out of five. If you like Clive Barker I would say this is one of the better adaptations made of his Books of Blood short stories.

Haven't watched it yet, but I just purchased BLACKULA / SCREAM BLACKULA SCREAM 2-pack at Wal-Mart.  Surprised by some of the selections in their horror section.  Also, they have a HORROR section!
