Zombiehorror: Speaking of Plague of the Zombies; I saw it at a little theater north of Atlanta with my cousin when I was like 13 or so. They were giving out cardboard "zombie eyes", but they ran out before we got our tickets!

DOH!  I just recently read about the zombie eyes promotion in 60's shockers and was wondering if there were any pairs floating around out there!?

Watched Jeepers Creepers Saturday night, the girls loved it and are anxiously awaiting Part II this weekend!

Lunkenstein

DRACULA (1931) wih my nephew's 18 year old son who has never seen any classic Universals, but loves vampires.  I told him he should see the iconic movie that basically started it all.  He wound up really liking it and was very impressed with the perfomances of Lugosi, Frye and Van Sloan and a film made in 1931.  I then let him know, there's lots more where that came from my boy.   ;)  I'm going to try to show him as many classics as I can while he's staying with us.

Phantom's Review: I watched this on "The Monster Channel" a few days ago. It still a complete turd. One of the "best" bad movies ever made. Terrible acting, goofy story and truly awful FX. A crap classic.

I bought The Tingler from Itunes today (I didn't have it on dvd), and watched it with love and delight!  The digital copy looks beautiful AND I can play it on my projector outside this summer! Yay!!

Unknown Primate

Terror Of Frankenstein (1977) - A Swedish-Irish film that is by far, the most faithful adaptation of Shelley's novel.  I really love this movie!  It's cold & stark, low key & well acted.  It's probably too slow & boring for some people, but I'm a slow & boring guy.  Karloff is the man - er, I mean, The Monster, but for a change of pace, I think this film is pretty cool.
7 out of 10 Bigfoot prints.

Eyes Without A face (1960) - French title: Les Yeux Sans Visage - Filmed in black & white, this is an artfully done, creepy little flick.  A few very disturbing scenes, including a very realistic surgery that...  ah well, don't want to spoil it.  And the mask she wears - brrrrrr!  Creepy!
7.5 out of 10 Bigfoot prints.

These are just U.P.'s opinions - me no want hate mail - me just unknown primate.
