How was this film?

It was alright. About a 6 out of 10. The set design was awesome at times. The characters were ok but there really wasn't anyone for me to root for. I got in at the matinee price for $5, which is a fair price for what I got. I'd probably save this one for a rental.

Impulse, 1984 - Ballet dancer receives an angry, profane phone call from her mother that ends with the sound of a gunshot.  On her return to her rural hometown, she finds people's behavior - changed.

Meg Tilly, Tim Matheson, Bill Paxton and Hume Cronyn.

Great image from the new Blu-Ray with Commentary. So glad to finally get the upgrade for this solid little '80's film.

Now I wish someone would do the same for "Endangered Species", 1982 - a movie I always seem to link to this one, even though their plots are dissimilar.  (Maybe because I originally saw them around the same time, and they gave me the same kind of vibe.)
