Dull, so far.
Still dull. I guess I'll finish it (too much time invested to stop now).

Restless Spirits, 1990 - Pre-high school brother and sister are spending the summer with their grandmother on Porter's Pond.  One extremely foggy night they encounter two oddly dressed men who speak French and claim to have just crashed their airplane in the pond.  But they don't know where they are, can't find their plane and their story doesn't quite make sense.  The sister decides to try to help them.

Stars  Lothaire Bluteau, Michel Monty, Juliana Wimbles, Marsha Mason and Leslie Hope.

Hallmark made-for-TV movie.  Plays like an after special presentation for the younger crowd.  Mild spook tale suitable for even the youngest kids.

It needed to be a whole lot darker to satisfy me, but I didn't hate it.

House of the Witch, 2017 - A group of teenagers decide to ignore the "No Trespassing" signs and spend Halloween night in a long-abandoned mansion where, legend has it, a witch lived.  Sometimes signs are posted for a reason.

Emily Bader, Darren Mann and others I don't recognize. Made for U.S. TV.

Aired here in 2017 - then had a theatrical release in Peru in 2018.

Style over substance.  Less special effects and more plot/motivation would have been an improvement.

Still, it is an OK one-time diversion whose story takes place entirely on Halloween.  I would like to have seen more emphasis on the holiday.  Not sure that I will ever watch it a 2nd time.
