. Can't get enough "Hills..", huh? Great film. In the commentary, they mention that they used Apple Valley  for some of the shots. My parents lived there until their passing. Dreadful place, imo.

I dig the film. Apple Valley. Wasn't Roy Rogers' museum in or near Apple Valley?

Yep. My parents always bragged about going there. I would look out my window, and see the dark, desolate desert as I drove back home. I would usually stick in my old, Anchor Bay DVD and let it take me away. Great film!

My Parents did drag me to museum when I was twelve..I guess I had fun.

Gotta love the stuffed horse. Made me think of Norman Bates.

Sleepaway Camp~The 2nd entry in Joe Bob's Last Drive-in.  Been along time since I've watched this one (on vhs no less) and gotta say, it's pretty freakin' slow.  The most shocking moment is probably the hatchet slaughter of the kiddos in their sleeping bags (done off camera).  The odd/jarring composite shot in the final scene somewhat distracts from the big reveal in my opinion.  Angela (Felissa Rose) herself was the special guest/interviewee.

Monsters For Sale

Blade Runner 2049, 2017 - Sequel to the original Blade Runner.

Much better than I was expecting it to be.  For whatever reason, despite the title, I was expecting a re-make instead of a continuation of the story.

I still prefer the original, but this was an OK movie on its own.

Land of the Dead -
Mucho zombie fun! Hey, am I the only one that finds the blonde baseball zombie hot? She is missing a third of her face, though. Also, the word, "walkers" is used to describe the zombies. Was that term used before this movie (2005)?

Big fan of this film. I assigned it in my crime and film class one year to coincide with Halloween. Used it to explain conflict criminology.

I love it, too. I would loved to have sat in on that class. I think it's one of Romero's most underrated films.
