BRIDES OF DRACULA and CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF on Blu-ray.

Broke open the Universal set. They look great and I don't mind the 2:1 ratio.

Jeffrey Combs is charmingly menacing in this little game he sets in play. Fun flick.

Great home-invasion-with-a-twist flick. So nice to see Barbara Crampton still looking lovely.

Mother!, 2017 - Blocked writer and his mom-wanna-be wife live in isolation, until a stranger bangs on their front door. Things begin to change around their once quiet home - lots of things.  Stuff happens - lots of stuff.

Jennifer Lawrence, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer and that guy from "No Country For Old Men".

I did not pick up on the symbolism until it was explained to me, afterwards.  Absent that, the movie was a very big puzzle to me but kept my attention to the end.  The story begins slowly and quietly, experiences a series of building disruptions, and then returns to its opening leisurely pace before freaking exploding through an astounding climax.

I can't recommended this for everybody (or even the majority of bodies), but, if you are willing to sit through a story with deeply buried allusions, you will be in for one hell of a ride.

I was exhausted and somewhat rattled when the film was over.  I'm sure I will watch it again sometime - when I feel up to it.
